“You have one chance to make an impression.”

Word of mouth will always drive business. We’re firm believers in that. But having a memorable logo is critical for every brand.

If someone is driving 65 mph on the highway, can they see your logo on a billboard? From a legibility standpoint, your logo must look as good on a billboard as it does on a business card. And, there are many ways logos are used today. From print, social media, websites, advertising, and stationary design.

EXAMPLES:
Print: Business cards, brochures, exterior/interior signage, invoices
Social Media: Posts, profile pictures, cover photos, social advertising
Websites: Mobile, tablet, and desktop versions in the header and footer
Advertising: Billboards, Google Advertising, Search Engine Marketing (SEM), Email Marketing
Stationary Design: Hats, bags, pens, apparel, koozies

Color and file formats

Every brand should have full-color, all-white, and all-black logo formats so you can use them as needed. In addition, your logo should come in raster and vector file formats. To learn more about raster vs. vector images, I’d recommend visiting this link from Adobe. But in short, raster images are only scalable by reducing size. Whereas, vector images are scalable to any size without losing quality.

  • Raster file formats: .jpg, .tiff, or .png
  • Vector file formats: .eps, .svg, and .ai
